About

Driven by a desire to protect and preserve the fragile ecosystems I am privileged to witness; I approach my craft with artistic vision and environmental consciousness. Whether trekking through remote wilderness areas or patiently waiting for the perfect light, I am dedicated to capturing images that inspire others to appreciate and conserve the wonders of our planet. Through my lens, I hope to document our planet's beauty and inspire a collective commitment to preserving it for future generations.

I've previously worked as a freelance field creator for outdoor industry companies such as Tom Miranda Outdoors, PSE Archery, Mossy Oak, Rusted Rooster, and others. In those roles, I filmed and edited content for broadcast television shows such as Territories Wild, which aired on the Outdoor Channel and My Outdoor TV. Working in the outdoor industry, I've gained an affinity for video production and outdoor photography.

In 2016, I joined the U.S. Army as a Combat Documentation Specialist (COMCAM) to produce historical content for the U.S. Army and Dept. of Defense. Now formally known as a Visual Information Specialist, I've been afforded many opportunities to document many aspects of the Department of Defense. During my six years of service, I've grown to understand how vital the role of a visual information specialist is and how my role plays a significant part in achieving strategic communication goals.

I've traveled internationally to Africa, Bahrain, and throughout the United States, documenting various missions including Change of Responsibility ceremonies, tactical operations, and humanitarian missions while assigned to the 55th Signal COMCAM and 24th Theater Public Affairs Support Element.

My bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and progress toward a master's degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications at West Virginia University have helped further my abilities as a visual information specialist.
